VT Wizard

What is the VT Wizard?    It’s a small Windows .Net application created by PMI to enhance the Web based Virtual Terminal experience.  It works seamlessly with the Virtual Terminal enhancing it with Digital Signature capture and the ability to email digitally signed receipts at the time of the transaction.  In the event that you do need to print a receipt, it prints to the default printer attached to the PC. It will print a dual copy of the receipt on a single page which saves having to print two pages.  For those that prefer a smaller receipt footprint, the VT Wizard also supports an Epson Thermal receipt printer.  Both print methods are enhanced by the Wizard with user managed logos, headers and footers, making them look very professional.    That’s not all that the Wizard does for you!  Upon completion of the transaction, the signed receipts are converted into .pdf files and automatically stored in the Wizard’s “Cloud” so there’s no local storage or retrieval headaches and maintenance for all your receipts.  These transactions are stored for 12 months in the event a copy is needed.  Retrieval is just a couple of clicks away with the option to reprint and/or email.  Simple elegant results that can provide you a “paperless” payment processing system!

You can drag this dockable dashboard to any part of your desktop.  Depending on your screen resolution, it’s approximately 1″ wide and 3″ tall.  Once placed, it always remains in that spot until you move it.  It can also be minimized to the task bar but still remain active.

One Click of the SWIPE CARD button will take you directly to the new sale transaction page.  No stopping to login with a user name and password.  Just click on the Swipe Card, enter the amount, then click submit, done!  Keyed transactions like contact lens reorders over the phone can also be made through the VT Wizard. Clicking on “Search” under the Swipe card button takes you to the Cloud Receipts to retrieve a copy to print and/or email again.

The VT Wizard Dashboard also has two more buttons, Daily Reports and Translink.  Daily Reports button will take you to the Main Virtual Terminal login page so you can run your Daily Close Report as well as get access to do voids/refunds/credits.   The Translink button takes you to the Backend reporting system that contains your monthly processing statements along with other various account reports.   The VT Wizard Dashboard makes everything just One Click away!

Windows Internet Explorer version 8 or greater is required to utilize the VT Wizard.  It currently does not work with any other web browser.

You can INSTALL/LICENSE the VT Wizard with the basic functionality described above at no extra charge.  You will need your 16 digit account number that begins with 5436 to enter as your office ID.   Your office must be setup on our Licensing server before it will recognize your License/install request.
