Welcome to my website!  I built this site to communicate exclusively with Vision Source and Smile Source Members.  Having members/clients in all fifty states, we don’t get to meet all of our clients face to face so I thought it would be nice to give you a face to put with the name.

I have been in the electronic payments industry for over 35 years working with numerous acquiring/processing entities.  I enjoy the challenges of the industry and creating new technologies to facilitate payments.  But many years ago I got quite fed up with the substandard business practices this industry is known for.  I was looking for a way to distinguish myself from the rest of the pack, that’s why I created Professional Merchants, Inc.  This gave me the independence to set my own standards of doing business, which is mixing good old fashioned service with honesty and integrity! This has been the key to a successful tenure in the payments industry and that’s the PMI difference you will experience!

I have built my client portfolio purely from referral with clients in many different industries.  I am able to create and maintain exceptional savings for all of my clients by avoiding the typical structure other companies that employ expensive phone solicitation rooms, multi-layer sales forces, and lots of advertising both on the web and in print.  That  structure creates enormous operational costs and forces them to fabricate all sorts of deceptive spiels and sales tactics to try and lure in new business with very high profit margins to cover those costs.  You’ve gotten the calls….you know what I’m talking about!

Along with avoiding the huge expenses above, thirty five plus years in the industry has given me an in depth knowledge of all the processing elements which allows me to create a program that yields the lowest Overall Effective Rates for my clients year after year.  As of December 31st 2018, my Vision Source clients were conservatively saving in excess of $5.1m annually compared to their costs prior to working with PMI.  That’s $5.1m annually going back into the pockets of Vision Source practices, not sales reps pockets!  Or should I say that is $5.1m annually that is NOT coming out of the members pockets?  Now we’re working hard to do the same for Smile Source members.
